Put black circles under your eyes, try some red eyeliner for the inside of your eyes then get some fake blood and poor it down your cheeks from there. Not too much! Just enough to have just the right touch of disturbing;-) Trust me I do this stuff for a living:-)

I Want to do a gold cape (to make it look a little modern) some white stocking with yellow/gold glitter thrown on it. A red hing-ham puffy dress with a half apron and a basket.
Does this sound good? Maybe some of your alterations and ideas may help. Thanks 
Well see, if you don't wear a Red Hood no one can identify it as Red Riding Hood.
A red gingham dress is cute but very difficult to find. Especially last minute like that.

That would be cute.
You could also try looking for a checkered shirt like that. MaryAnn from Gilligan's Island style. Then put a skirt with it--even if it doesn't match.
But if you do a gold cape, it's gonna take people a while to have any clue who you are. Don't forget the picnic basket or one of those straw woven purses from this summer.

hey, i just got that exact costume today....weird
what you need to do is ask ppl for money and save up and ask one of your friends to buy it when they go to a store (i went to party city)
or you could ask them if you could come along.
if that doesn't work then buy a pattern from walmart or Micheal's.
the sad thing is that if you don't know how to sew then you have a problem.

my boyfriend and i are doing Halloween together. i just thought of this idea that he could be the big bad wolf and i could be little red riding hood! i have a general idea of what i would need but i would like more ideas. if we go trick or treating i will just put the candy in my basket haha.
but for his costume.. i'm not sure what he could do.
i dont want him to wear a wolf mask or anything... but i still want it to be obvious that he goes along with my costume.
so maybe some fangs and a tail and i dont know what else.
any ideas?

fake fur and spirit gum/glue (found at costume stores) that he can put on his face or a fake fur beard, furry gloves, and mess up his hair using product so it sticks. and yes, a tail and fangs would be good too, but fangs are really annoying to wear in your mouth. you can dribble fake blood down his chin too. maybe fake ears, too.

I don't have the tights, basket, or shoes.
( But I plan to get sparkly red heels ! and I don't really want white tights )
